Hey, Fantaskey Community-why don’t you let Park Burger know about us and tell them how we could be great for each other?! 🙂 You never know.
Nonetheless, as far as “local” favorites go in the Denver area, Park Burger is on the list of many locals.
Park Burger has been one of the favorite burger joints for Denver Locals ever since an ambitious local Chef and Restaurateur, Jean-Phillipe Failyau, opened the first Park Burger in Denver’s Platt Park neighborhood back in 2009. With the Pearl Street institution’s initial and continued success, we have since seen Park Burger spawn another several locations around the Denver area (and counting).
Also, Mr. Failyau (to our knowledge) has at least 3 other restaurant concepts currently alive and well in the Denver Metro Area: Homegrown Tap & Dough; Park & Co.; and Birdcall. BUT, we’re here today to look at the work of the team at the ORIGINAL Park Burger, located at 1890 South Pearl Street in Denver, Colorado.
The Classic Double is not for the faint of heart, with 2 1/4 lb beef patties, delicious bacon, a hearty bun (you can even get Gluten Free!), their famous “burger sauce,” and then a virtual salad with beautiful tomato, lettuce, onions, and clearly house-made pickles. Suffice it to say, finishing this is an accomplishment.
BUT it gets better, we also got BOTH the classic potato fries & sweet potato fries (they also have truffle parmesan fries). We didn’t go for any shakes or drinks this round, but you can get those also.
